Blogs Of The Day (BOTD) is having some problem with their server (overloaded with pings) and they said that it would take some time to fix that by optimizing the site and the WP plugin itself. Until it fix, I decide to pull-off the plugin from two of my most visited blogs, MOSTS and TMC.

Here’s an excerpt from the announcement:

Today I found BOTD unable to keep up with all of the pings it’s getting from your blogs. Thanks to the steady growth of both the number and quality of blogs participating in this community, BOTD now handles several requests per second.

I will undertake to optimize BOTD to be able to handle more traffic and update the plugin as necessary. If you could do your part by buying advertising on this site, it would be incentive for me to continue to improve on this, my mutant hobby. My green, plug-necked monster.
